Paul Gogué is a painter and illustrator, currently living and working in Paris. Exhibited in France and in the UK, Paul's work is figurative, and willingly plays with the reality (realities?) he represents.
His compositions, vividly colourised, or radically Black and White, are fed with nature, surrealism, caricature and humour ; an explosive cocktail that harmonizes on canvas or paper to express the absurdity of the world as the artist sees it.
Paul Gogué invites the viewer to travel and wonder through his dreamy world, filled with references to Art History and Pop Culture.
